If you are looking to be inspired during these holidays, but not really into the Christmas spirit, “King Richard” is literally a Movie that you Must See.
Although there were times where I was worried that dad (Richard Williams) would get in the way of the young girls’ (Venus & Serena) opportunity, I also learned about dedication and believing in yourself and your skills will take you as far as you want to go. Although the title is King Richard, Queen Motha, played a huge role in the success of both young ladies, working just as hard as dad training and loving them.
I can’t give it all away. Although I was super proud and emotionally happy during the movie, it also had several moments of drama and anguish. Ultimately this movie gets 2 thumbs up from me. I suggest you Have a Movie Night and watch King Richard featuring, Will Smith, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor and other great actors in this heartwarming film. Trust me you will be inspired!
